The MIT Venture Mentoring Service (VMS) supports innovation and entrepreneurial activity throughout the MIT community by matching both prospective and experienced entrepreneurs with skilled volunteer mentors.
Programs & Opportunities
- Entrepreneurs: VMS is open to all members of the MIT community (students, faculty, staff and alumni) who have ideas and want to start new businesses.
- Mentors: VMS mentors are an elite group of professionals carefully selected based on their expertise in business formation and operations, and for their skills as advisors as well as their desire and ability to give back.
- Outreach Training Program: VMS established an Outreach Training Program with the mission of helping other organizations establish their own formal venture mentoring programs based on MIT’s experience.
